Graph32 by Nicolas Piguet

Maths made fun!

You have always considered maths as a complicated and boring thing? You were wondering why you had to buy a standalone graphical calculator even when you have your Psion? Now discover another side of this science, bring it to a new dimension. Graph32 - by Nicolas Piguet - makes one more step towards today's graphical calculator standard with it's new 3D surfaces functionality.

But that's not all, Graph32 now provides an even more powerful support for 2 dimensional functions, while staying as easy to use as before. And even better, you can now load and use additional plugins into Graph32 to bring new functionality to it. You can now even program your own plugin to make sure Graph32 does what you want it to do!

Features include:-

  • Support for 4 types of functions (Cartesian, Parametric, Polar, Inductive)
  • Full function analysis tools for cartesian functions
  • Supports derivative and second derivative plotting for cartesian functions
  • 'Colour mode' operation on both colour and monochrome machines
  • Cursor trace mode option - allowing you to find the value of any function for a specific variable value
  • Includes simultaneous and quadratics solver
  • Default physical constants (g, G, ce, me, NA) and customisable constants
  • English and French versions included
  • Support for 3 kind of 3D surfaces, along with 3 paiting styles and their trace mode.

New in version 2.21:

  • Support for up to 5 plugins
  • Support for hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions as well as co-tangent

Compatibility:

Graph32 is compatible with every EPOC machine available and has been tested on the Series 5, 5mx, Revo, MC218, Series 7, netBook, and Osaris. It should also work on the Geofox 1 although this has not been tested.

License:

Graph32 is an open source OPL application which is distributed under the FreEPOC Open Source License. That means its code can be viewed and edited by anyone, provided you respect the terms of the FreEPOC Open Source License, to have it suit your needs even better. The source code is available for download. Its installation is intended for experienced EPOC users only.

Plugins:

Important: If you dowloaded the Matrix Calculator plugin before the 25th of January, please download it again, since it is affected by a serious problem in the matrix multiplication option (only when both matrices are not square.)
